Piksel is an annual and intertional festival for artists, developers and inventors who work with free and open technologies that have been carried out for 13 years in Bergen, Norway. Transpiksel is the new version of this festival that generated the joint formation of the allies of Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico.

Transpiksel MX is the International Open Source Art, Science and Technology Festival in Mexico, and took place from September 5 to 13 in different venues where 19 workshops, 12 conferences, 14 live acts and 1 collective exhibition were held. All activities were carried out under a free license and collaborative and community processes, and presented by 47 artists (37 Mexicans and 10 foreigners) and / or collectives from 8 countries.

All activities were free entry with the intention of promoting the exchange of knowledge between different disciplines. Arte + Ciencia y Bioscénica thanks all the people who could join the activities developed during Transpiksel MX.
